At the end of 2018 an Imam asked for help on a Whatsapp group – and without knowing what he was asking for I responded to see if I could help.

That led to a series of meetings where I took responsibility for creating counselling courses that would be accredited by CPCAB.

That in turn led to teaching firstly Level 2 Counselling Skills  with Islamic Principles and then Level 3 Counselling Studies with Islamic Principles.

 

Yet …

 

It is as if I have belonged to Islam from the very beginning – that I have never been away. The knowledge I have gained in my spiritual search seems to fit in with what I now know to be true.

If anyone had suggested to me that I would be doing this I would have laughed loudly – teaching in two cities initially and then three with over 90% pass rate – and still young in the faith – a Muslim revert from 2016.

At least one of the groups contained Imams so I knew I could easily be caught out if I said anything wrong over 14 weekends throughout the year!
